1st Birthday Celebration

This is a very special post for me because my daughter turned 1 on 5th Dec 2015. I am really thankful to both my families for all the support, love and care. Upbringing a child is much more difficult than giving birth. But in India you have such a huge support system that it becomes really easy to handle it all.

For her first birthday we decided to go to Jaipur on a roadtrip and it was one of the best trips ever. I was terrified with the thought of amount of time we had to spent in car which could make my daughter cranky but to my surprise it all went smoothly. I tell you kids are the most unpredictable creatures ever. You never know what's coming next.

Anyways, I got her two dresses for her birthday. One from online website Little Muffet which I would be reviewing soon too and other from a boutique.

I made these caps for everyone. I got a special one for saanvi but she was just not interested in wearing one.

Getting a perfect click with her is the most difficult thing to do.

5 Cake Ideas for Princess Theme Party

My baby's first birthday is around the corner, so obviously my preparations are in full swing. I would be sharing all deets on this blog as well as my social media channels so do make sure you follow me there.

I have not planned a lavish birthday party for her buy yes, I am going to make it special in my own way. Since she is princess of our family, I am planning to have a princess theme cake for her.
While scrolling through pinterest, these are the designed I finalised which are practical as well as beautiful.

This one is bonus, just because I could not delete any of these. All these cakes are so pretty, how can one cut them.

25th Birthday Celebration

Yes! I am 25 now.
I have always tried to stay a little childish so that I can enjoy the moments completely and stay true to myself and others just like babies. My maturity level generally depends on the situations and the person I am dealing with. But recently I can see myself changing a lot, maybe that is part of growing up or maybe that has something to do with "25" [yeah! When I read somewhere I am 25 years old, I get this responsible and grown up kind of a feeling, its kinda milestone set in my mind.] or maybe the things that life/marriage has taught me with time. Whatever the reasons are ultimately what matters is "I am learning".

Lets see the changes I feel I am going through:

I can listen to people more patiently, though I still have a threshold.
I observe more.
I try and put my heart in things that I don't love to do neither do they harm me but makes my closer ones happy.Being a part of Indian Society, where everything you has an impact on your family members, this is something I am really still learning.
I am more responsible now at least I feel so.
I make more lists now.
I am much more organized person which explains the point above.
I have found my own way of being happy without any company.
I can judge what is better for me and take decisions accordingly.
I have learnt to say NO.

Unlike the times when I wanted everyone in this world to wish and celebrate/party hard on my birthday, this time I switched off my Facebook birthday notification so that I receive only genuine wishes and celebrated my birthday with my close ones, relaxing and unwinding myself.

This time my hubby took me to Chandigarh which was a surprise I got in morning, you should have seen me I was jumping with joy.Oh, by the way I was getting a surprise daily from week, so it was a Special Birthday Week for me.

In Chandigarh, I shopped my heart out and had lot of fun. We went for a couple dinner alone after ages and what a crazy crowd it was at Peddlers, In all it was an amazing and a very special birthday "WEEK" for me.

I love celebrating every occasion whether it be anniversaries, valentine, diwali or birthday's just anything. And even if there is no occasion nearby and I feel like celebrating something, I discover one and we partyyyy !! ya this is how crazy I am.

As much as I love making my days special, I also love making my loved ones days special. I love doing something creative and exclusive for them which brings a huge smile on their face and that is what the actual motive of all this is.

So today I am letting my creativity flow and give you tips on how to make your loved ones 25th celebration special, be it birthday or parents 25th anniversary because I believe 25th is a benchmark in life just like 16 or 18 or 50 is, ya the same way :p

25th Celebration Ideas

1. 25 Gifts for 25th: If it is 25th birthday/anniversary of someone special in your life then gift him/her/them 25 Gifts. To make it more interesting, start 25 days early and greet him/her/them with a gift every midnight/early morning before they wake up with a gift and note beside them. It makes the complete experience romantic and special.
Now you ask; we cannot think of one thing to gift how in this world are we going to decide about 25 things ? For that wait for my next post. I will share my list of 25 gifts that you can buy for your husband/wife.

2. A trip: What better than planning a getaway from all the worries and domestic day to day problems.Plan a big or a small weekend trip; anyway that suits. If you cannot go out of the city, you can surprise your partner by booking stay at a 5 star resort for a day with spa and pool facilities. So chillax besides a pool with your partner, forget the worries, sip on a mocktail and rejuvenate yourself. Luxuuuurrryyyyyyyyyyy.....

3. Romantic packages: Almost every 5-star now have a romantic package available which includes various facilities like couple spa, candle light dinner or a movie night out in a lawn. Look for packages like these one in a resort near you or if not available ask them if it can be arranged and customized according to you. Where there is a will, there is a WAY..

4. Throw a party: Yeah, this is the easiest and most common on the list. Organize a surprise party or throw a party for your loved ones. Fun. fun. fun.Enjoy you day !!

Birthday Blast : Blue - Black Peplum

I don't know why some people treat there birthday as just another day because I tend to treat my self as princess (though I feel like one everyday) it's my day where I am the center of attraction and I shamelessly accept the fact and take full advantage of it.

Though my husband was out of station for an urgent work but I did not leave any change to enjoy my occasion . His friends who are now my friends too also made sure that I do not miss my hubby and kept me busy and happy throughout. I know they are super duper sweet and I am blessed to have these lovelies in my life (*touchwood*) Thank You God !

I partied with my girlfriends. It was fun, good food, chit chat, gossips and everything girly ! Overall a memorable day.
